I have been taking privates with Liz Lira for about 6 months now and it’s been great! She really takes the time to work with each individual’s needs and levels, but also helps you push your limits to bring you to your highest potential. Even if you don’t know why you’re there and just want to learn to dance, she will intuitively know what you need, just by meeting you once and watching you, where ur weak areas are and where you need to develop. I call her the “dance whisperer” because she’s seriously very intuitive as to what you need to work on each time you are there: One day she will tie up your ankles, another day she’ll have you against the wall to make sure your posture is right; she has many unorthodox methods–but it works! And I’m grateful for having a chance to work and train with the best. Thank you, Liz! :)))
Liz helped us with the father/daughter wedding dance. She was absolutely amazing in every way. We were impressed with Liz’s expertise and professionalism; not to mention her cheerful, graceful and encouraging attitude. Thank you Liz! We thoroughly enjoyed it!
I’ve taken dance classes for years at a bunch of different studios, this is hands-down the best. Liz is both a world-class dancer and a world-class teacher. She combines rigorous instruction with deep compassion, and has built a wonderful community of teachers and students. Everyone I’ve met at the studio is friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to their growth as dancers. Highly recommend for anyone interested in latin dance, at any level.

Taking privates with Liz over the last few years has catapulted my dancing farther than I knew possible.
